What is it about engagment shoots that always courts summer storms? We barely made it through this session when the sky just erupted in lightning, thunder, rain and wind. Beautiful light for great sky shots, but we were still happy to be driving home in warm and dry vehicles.

Joel and Brienne only had one request for their wedding photos: make them “country”. So we did. With the help of the St. Albert Grain Elevator Park, some abandoned barns and an awesome fruit and veggie farm on the way to Villeneuve, we rocked the casbah, ahem, country.
